Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Of Operations of Casman, Jeff oversees Casman as a whole. Jeff’s strong organizational skills, extensive hands-on construction experience, formal management education, and being a Red Seal Carpenter make Jeff both the qualified and a natural fit for leadership of the Casman Team. Joining Casman in the early 1990’s as a labourer Jeff quickly proved his drive and work ethic and has not slowed down since. Jeff is truly the example of Casman’s commitment to growth and promotion of our people, at one time holding almost every field, supervisory, and operations management position in the organization throughout his tenure. He brings an exceptional depth of understanding of what it takes to both complete successful construction projects, and run an organization faced with the challenges the construction industry working across multiple markets brings. Jeff’s commitment to mentoring and giving the same opportunities that he was given at Casman has resulted in the growth of a highly trained team of Mangers, Project Managers, Superintendents, Administrators, and Field Staff.
Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Margie’s role is diverse in both geography and duties, spanning Development, HR, Project Controls, Client Relations, and Strategic Planning in all of the communities Casman serves. Joining the Casman Group in 2001, Margie is yet another example of an employee seizing the opportunities for experience and continuing education Casman presented. Margie has added the Professional Gold Seal Certification (P.GSC) - Owners Project Manager, Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration to the Design Technology Diploma, she entered the industry with. With a passion and unwavering energy for the building industry, Margie is able to navigate through the challenges that complex projects bring, whether it be construction planning, value engineering, attaining funding, or preparing reporting for stakeholders.
Director of Finance
As Director of Finance, Matt oversees all Finance, Accounting, and Information Technology at the Casman Group. Matt holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting from the University of Alberta and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). Prior to joining Casman in 2015, Matt gained broad experience working for one of the worlds largest professional accounting firms and also spending time in the private sector. When not at Casman leading his team, Matt plays an active role in the community by volunteering with his family.
General Counsel
Craig Sherburne, Casman’s General Counsel is a lawyer with years of experience in commercial law, securities and corporate law. Craig holds many degrees including a B.Sc., a Ph.D, a J.D., and is a Qualified Arbitrator. Craig continually proves to be an excellent resource to the entire team at Casman for operational tasks to complex contractual situations. Outside of his role with Casman, Craig acts as counsel for publicly traded companies and venture capital groups. He plays an active role in community fundraising and volunteering and is the President of the Alberta Multiple Sclerosis Research Foundation, working on assisting with the standard of care for Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. Craig is also a professional public speaker and author.
Estimating Manager
As Estimating Manager, Klint identifies and evaluates a project’s scope, schedule, contractual requirements, and risks, ultimately presenting our clients with the information and pricing they need in the early stages of a project. Working closely with Clients and Consultants, Klint and his team provide a wide range of services from the design and planning stage through to construction. A graduate of Construction Engineering Technology and 25 years of industry experience provides Klint the expertise to envision the project from start to completion in the early stages, allowing Casman to successfully plan and execute a successful project.
HSE Manager
As HSE Manager, Bryce brings extensive experience providing technical health and safety guidance, leadership, and strategy development in all aspects of safety. Bryce ensures that the Project Management Teams support Casman’s HSE Management System and ensure policies, procedures, and work instructions are maintained and communicated to relevant personnel and are consistent with the requirements of each region. With almost two decades of experience as a safety professional in various industries including, Industrial and Commercial Bryce’s diverse experience makes him a proven resource to Casman. When not at work Bryce can be found planning community events and activities and enjoying them with his active family.

Joining Casman in 2014 Jasleen brings her formal education in Human Resources and over a decade in industry to her Role as HR Manager. Jasleen excels at ensuring all employees of Casman have access to the information and resources Casman provides such as health benefits, financial planning, and career planning. With strong organization skills, she leads our team of geographically diverse HR Professionals as they meet the fluctuating personnel demands in the various markets Casman serves.
