New Construction

Esquimalt, BC
New construction of a 7,000 sqft. Health Centre for Esquimalt Nation in their collaboration with First Nations Health Authority. The Health Centre consists of two wings of the building meeting at a central entrance and gathering area. The circular, central focal point features glulam structure and CLT roof with skylight, and the building wings are light wood framed with wood trusses. The building will be the new home to Esquimalt Nation’s community health care providers, with offices, child minding, meeting room, examination rooms, a dental office, physiotherapy, and counselling. A traditional medicine room with large windows and circular seating and a large community kitchen bathed in sunlight are found at the South-East portion of the building.
