Exterior Upgrades

Lake Cowichan, BC
The Cowichan Lake Sports Arena upgrade delivered a comprehensive enhancement to both functionality and building performance through two distinct scopes of work. The first phase involved the construction of a new purpose-built storage facility, featuring a structural steel frame on a newly engineered slab foundation. The building was outfitted with three overhead doors to support efficient operations, and finished with a high-performance Kingspan insulated panel system, ensuring durability, energy efficiency, and a cohesive architectural finish.
The second phase focused on a full building envelope upgrade across the North, South, and West elevations of the arena. The existing metal cladding was carefully removed and replaced with a new girt system and modern Kingspan insulated panels. This transformation not only refreshed the visual identity of the facility, but significantly improved thermal performance, contributing to long-term energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
