The company began business as Fort McMurray Refrigeration from a small office in 1977. Since this humble beginning, it has become a major industry leader working with a team of certified and proven professionals, undertaking major industrial contracts.

In September 2007, Fort McMurray Refrigeration became a member of the Casman Group of Companies. Our new name emphasizes the mechanical services that constitute the bulk of our business.

FMR Mechanical now works hand in hand with some of the largest well-recognized industrial clients in the Fort McMurray area. Although the name has changed, we apply the same level of dedication, reliability and creative solutions for all projects – no matter what the size.
