About us

Cherrywood Homes Alberta Ltd. commenced operations in 1997 to provide a new concept in home construction for the Wood Buffalo Region. With the focus on building neighbourhoods, instead of houses, Cherrywood Homes embarked on a program to provide a complete streetscape concept, where houses are matched together to create a common theme. By building neighbourhoods, our customers are able to quickly assimilate themselves into the community and make Fort McMurray their new home. Casman Building and its residential construction group is an active member of the Alberta New Home Warranty Program and 2006 Service Award recipient.

Building Neighbourhoods

Our proud neighbourhoods can be found in each of the new major subdivisions, including Timberlea, Wood Buffalo, Confederation Heights, Prospect Point, and Parsons Creek. Our neighbourhoods are conspicuous with their trademarked exposed aggregate driveways, clean house lines, treed front landscaping and coordinated styling.

In the Community

Leading by example in building a community, Cherrywood Homes has been a proud sponsor of youth athletics, in hockey, swimming, and baseball. In addition, our construction group has been an active participant in the construction of community amenities including, hockey, football and baseball - softball facilities.
